Three months after the
only fatal monorail accident in Walt Disney World history, in which 21-year-old monorail pilot Austin Wuennenberg lost his life, the company has
announced plans to build a new train from the unscathed remains of the two trains involved in the collision. The new train will receive a teal stripe, while the original colors of pink and purple will be permanently retired.
