Sarah Palin next in line?!?!?

The birthday boy (72-years-young today) has on multiple occasions remarked that Senator Barack Obama lacks the experience to be commander-in-chief, but today John McCain chose as his running mate a woman with virtually no preparation to take over as President were he to keel over and die while in office (a mathematical probability, given that the current male life expectancy remains 75.15 years in America).

Barack Obama, for reference, spent seven years in the Illinois State Senate (Illinois, by the way, the 5th most populous state in the U.S.), and four years in the U.S. Senate.

Sarah Palin spent four years on the Wasilla, Alaska, City Council, followed by two terms as the mayor of said city (population less than five-and-a-half thousand). She served as Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission for two years (though she currently has her own ethics troubles), and is currently a first term Governor of Alaska, having served not even two years of her term yet (Alaska, by the way, the 47th most populous state in the U.S., with in fact, 1/19 the population of Illinois, smaller than the population of Jacksonville, Florida).

Speaking of 3am phone calls, the one Sarah Palin might receive may be to inform her she needs to be sworn in as President. Is this who we really want taking that call?
