"Love is Deaf" will soon make its Canadian Premiere at the BAY STREET FILM FESTIVAL in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The folks at BAY STREET were nice enough to offer me a stipend to travel to Thunder Bay for the festival, but unfortunately, even with the supplement, I can't afford to make the trip. Another nice surprise came in the form of an invitation to screen at the TULSA UNCENSORED FILM FESTIVAL. "Naked" played this festival last year. I didn't submit "Love is Deaf," but the programmers got a hold of a copy anyway and asked if they could program it, making TULSA the 19th Official Selection for "Love is Deaf." Woohoo!
