Production Journal: "ON BEING YOUR AVERAGE JOE" -- Entry 3

Just posted casting calls with 8 different services. The actor Ryan had wanted to use turned the part down today. Seems he "doesn't (won't)" do drag. I find this just a little amusing/disappointing. I'm not sure whether I would do drag for a film or not. I might, but then I'm not a professional actor. How can someone consider himself "an actor" if he refuses to take roles that make him uncomfortable? Well, anyway, now we have to cast for the part. On Friday we go door to door looking for locations. Will anyone let us shoot a tranny in their house?
